A conversation among former co-workers

Dinner with Friends

with one comment

While Rhea and I originally discussed this, the idea came back up over dinner with Dave, Jacque and Doug.

As usually the conversation at dinner turned towards how things used to be and the hilarity of how things are, but I also learned something.

You can’t be around our friends without learning something, and that is a blessing.

As I’ve been preparing for the new job people have been asking me questions about how I got to know what I know. When it comes down to it I have said and will continue to say, I worked with great people.

Great leaders who let me try something new and great co-workers who never saw my success as meaning they had failed.

  1. Case in point: Today I learned from Doug that one can eat only french fries and onion rings for dinner, and that’s okay.
