So, like Rhea, my first post is going to be a link mish-mash - a potpourri, if you will.

Web Form Design: A topic on which your enthusiasm is probably a good measure of your web nerdiness.  Check out recent trends presented in a pretty digestible way by Smashing Magazine.

Ode: A magazine I enjoy.  Ode features a variety of stories about people, the planet, ideas, culture…The stories are ususally positive (the magazine is self-described as “for intelligent optimists”).  I can’t vouch for the website because I actually don’t frequent the site.  The cover designs are really hit or miss – sometimes they’re good, sometimes they have a CEO doing Tai Chi - but I enjoy the read.

DC Sports Eaters:  Frank’s sports blog was recently revived from the dead.  I’d say it’s 80% local (O’s, Nats, Skins, etc.), 5% Ohio (one author from Ohio was grandfathered in due to former DC residence), 15% national (World Cup, Wimbledon, whatev).  They recently switched from Blogger to WordPress and they’re using the default theme, so if anyone knows any designers, they could use some help…
